Alpine Guides, Mt Cook New Zealand

Alpine Guides professional IFMGA/NZMGA mountain guides are based year-round in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, and work throughout the Southern Alps.

Summer - October 2015 to April 2016

The summer climbing season is just around the corner. This is the best time of year for learning mountaineering skills on our climbing instruction school. We have courses for beginner to advanced alpinists.

Summer is also when the big peaks of the Southern Alps are in best condition.

We are almost fully booked for Aoraki Mount Cook but still have plenty of availability for guided ascents and instruction right through the summer months.

Winter 2015 ski touring

Our winter program is winding up - but there are still opportunities to take advantage of the fantastic spring snow cover across the Southern Alps on a private ski tour. Contact us for more information...
