We run most of our guiding trips based out of mountain huts. Typically the huts are bolted down to rock outcrops high above the glaciers.

Alpine Guides does not own the huts used. These buildings are owned and operated either by the Department of Conservation (DOC) or the New Zealand Alpine Club. Hut fees are built into the cost of our programs.
