Based in Christchurch, family business Earth Sea Sky makes specialised clothing for outdoor adrenaline junkies, multi-sporters, adventure travellers and urban prisoners.

Established in 1990, the company's history harkens back to the 1950's, and the golden years of Himalayan and Antarctic exploration.

With a philosophy to be the best (not biggest), Earth Sea Sky design and create all their garments right here in Aotearoa.

Em's Power Cookies and Bars ››

It's important to eat well in the mountains. Em's cookies and bars are the best "sports" bars we've come across.

We like them so much that from December 2009 they are supplied as the staple energy bar for our course and guiding participants.

Em's bars are a low GI, high-energy, protein festival of yummy goodness!

Kea Conservation Trust ››

Alpine Guides is proud to sponsor the Kea Conservation Trust.

The Kea (Nestor notabilis) is a true alpine parrot, endemic to the Southern Alps of New Zealand. These amazing and intelligent birds are sadly (like so much else) endangered.

Chessell Adventures (formerly DCXP) is an Australian company, owned and operated by mountain guide & photographer Duncan Chessell.

Specialising in Himalayan trips, their HQ is in Australia but they have staff and offices in Nepal and Africa. Chessell Adventures also operate trips in South America, PNG, and Antarctica.

Himalayan Experience is directed by Russell Brice - Kiwi and ex-Alpine Guides guide.

Russell has been leading expeditions to the Himalayas since 1974 and their company has one of the strongest and most Sherpa team in the Himalayas.

Yamnuska Mountain Adventures has been a presence in the Canadian Rockies since 1977. It has a reputation as one of the leading mountain school & mountain guide services in North America.
