Paula's first gainful employment with Alpine Guides was as our 'gopher' back in 2001 - just before starting official training as a guide with the NZMGA.

Since then she's had a number of busy summers clocking up her guiding accomplishments. Her outgoing attitude, energy, and huge laugh make her a popular guide.

Paula has worked a number of seasons as a ski patroller at Ohau ski area, close to her home base in Twizel. Recently she's been working with the Mount Hutt team, spending her winters in Methven.

She's a fan of skiing spring corn and hanging out at the local rock crag on sunny days...
