Rob Dunn : Assistant Climbing Guide
Nationality: NZ
First worked with Alpine Guides: 2008
Rob came out of university with a geology degree and spent several years geologising, mainly in the dry outback of Australia. But with a love of the outdoors Rob started "seriously" getting into the hills about 1995.
His working life since 2000 has mostly been in outdoor education (working as an instructor at the Sir Ed hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre) and the guiding industry in NZ.
He has climbed all over the world, including Australia, Nepal, India, Pakistan, United States, Europe and Antarctica.
Rob's measured and thoughtful approach, coupled with a wry sense of humour makes him a great person to spend time in the hills with.
When not enslaved by Alpine Guides Rob enjoys time with family and friend, especially rock climbing in the Darrans.
