Advanced Alpine Skills Course

Advanced Alpine Skills is a climbing course for experienced mountaineers. The course is based in the Mt Cook area, and runs at a low 1:3 maximum guide to participant ratio.

A real course, in a serious alpine environment

On the Advanced Alpine course emphasis is placed on instruction - on the mountain. We encourage course participants to make their own decisions, under their guide's close supervision...

You will climb challenging routes and peaks, learn new skills, and hone your technique. Routes climbed are NZ Alpine grade 2 to 3+

The Advanced Alpine is a great follow-up to the Technical Mountaineering Course (TMC). In particular it suits experienced climbers who want a refresher, and a great climbing trip.
