The Ascents Program package lets us put together a tailored mountaineering trip on a 1 guide to 1 client basis.
Ideal for the experienced alpinist, it allows attempts on the more serious routes and challenging peaks of the Southern Alps. Typically our more senior guides provide this service.
You can select the location you're interested in, or a particular summit, and we will recommend the duration of the trip. We can also recommend suitable venues for experienced alpinists who want to climb a number of peaks.
Our detailed Ascents Program notes suggest possible objectives, and the required length of trip. Peaks include classics like Malte Brun, Mount Sefton and La Perouse.
On Mt Dixon, photo by Trev StreatThe Ascents Program can be used to provide a mix of instruction and climbing for those that need it. This is ideal as a refresher for those coming back to the sport. For the beginner mountaineer we recommend a scheduled instruction course.
No fixed departure dates. Instead you can choose the dates and duration of the trip to suit your travel plans (subject to guide availability). Advance bookings are essential.
