Aspirations and background

• I'm planning on trekking in Nepal/Tibet, and need the basics of using crampons and ice axe. Help! ››

 

• I want an introduction to mountaineering, and to have fun in the mountains. I want to be confident on snow and ice, and experience the alpine environment. But I'm not so sure about doing any "technical" climbing ››

 

• I'm fizzing to get into the high mountains! I want to learn all about climbing on snow and ice and traveling on glaciated terrain. However, it's been ages since I did any rock climbing... in fact I'm pretty hopeless with ropes. What should I do? ››

 

• I've done some rock climbing and abseiling (but not necessarily leading) so I know a bit about ropes and knots. After this course I want to be able to go into the mountains with my buddies, and knock off peaks ››
