This expedition is ideal for people who have participated in one of our Alpine Skills Courses (ASC), Mountain Experience Course (MEC) or equivalent.

Our expedition begins and ends in the beautiful capital city of La Paz in Bolivia, at 3,640 m above sea level.
The trip is divided into two parts. The first involves trekking in some of the local gems around La Paz and the famous Lake Titicaca, allowing guests to slowly acclimatise to the high altitude (roughly 4,000 m).
The second part of the expedition will take you to the beautiful valleys of Condoriri National Park, in the Cordillera Real. The focus will be to summit 3 peaks between 5,000 and 6,000 m, involving an introductory to intermediate level of mountaineering.

Pablo Borjas, Alpine Guides’ bilingual Expedition Leader is our main guide to Bolivia. Intimately experienced in the local culture, Pablo is the perfect host to show you the wonders of the Condoriri. He will be joined by other AGL guides, as expedition numbers allow.

Fully-Supported - No Heavy Load Carrying
The beauty of a fully supported expedition is no heavy loads to carry on your back. On trekking days you will carry up to a 10 kg pack and only up to 15 kg on mountaineering days.
