Rock Climbing Terms and Conditions


BOOKING CONDITIONS

The following conditions apply to all Rock Climbing trips. Please read thoroughly.

1. Online bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a $75 deposit per person and completed booking form. Full payment is due on the day.

2. Bookings for Rock Climbing must be made for specific dates.

3. Alpine Guides reserves the right to modify itineraries if necessary, due to circumstances beyond our control including changing weather, or guest ability/fitness.

4. Weather and Refunds
A. Rock climbing is highly weather dependent. We will make a decision on the morning of your trip (by 08:00) and notify you if we cannot operate due to weather. We may offer you an alternate date, if suitable, or a full refund. We encourage guests to contact us 48 hours out to check on weather.

B. No refunds are due for leaving during the trip for medical or fitness reasons. We recommend travel insurance to cover this contingency.

C. There is no refund due for customers who do not show. See “Cancellations” below.


6. CANCELLATIONS
Alpine Guides recommends travel insurance to cover against cancellation and potential loss of payment/deposits. We
accept no responsibility for illness or personal accidents. Accident Compensation may cover some accidents, but not illness.

We guarantee a refund of any payment (or no charge) if your cancellation is received more than 24 hours prior to your booking. No-shows or failure to cancel the day before will result in full payment. There is a strict 100% charge for customers who do not show and the weather is operable.
