At Alpine Guides, we don't believe in "one size fits all." Our instruction program is designed for entry at any level—provided you have the foundations to back it up. You aren't required to tick off Level 1 to "qualify" for Level 2; if you have the experience, we have the challenge to match it.

Before diving into the technical specs, take a moment to ask yourself:
What are my ultimate goals? Am I training for a specific summit, or building a lifelong skill set?
Is this a one-off adventure or a pathway?
Am I looking for an introduction to the alpine world, or the technical autonomy to lead my own missions?
Not all alpine terrain is created equal. It is essential to choose a course that matches the environment you want to play in, and the times when mother nature allows this to happen.
Glacier v Rock: Some trips focus on technical rock, or ridges and scrambling. Glacier travel and crevasse rescue may not be part of the curriculum.
Seasonal Windows: Our courses are scheduled around the optimal conditions for the skills taught at various times of the year.
